The MERKUR 23 was originally developed in the 1920s. Its original design
and reliable quality make it a timeless classic: the long handle and the
knob with the diamond-shaped cross knurl provide a good grip even with wet,
soapy fingers. The straight foam edge reliably ensures a smooth shave,
especially for first-time shavers. After a good 100 years, the classic is
now also available in stainless steel for long-lasting pleasure even in
difficult environments.
The long handle makes shaving a smooth process and the closed comb is an
all-rounder for classic wet shaving, for beard and body. The generous blade
gap allows soap and Harare to drain away easily so that the blade remains
hygienically clean and free.
