The MERKUR 22C was originally developed in the 1920s. Its original design
and reliable quality make it a timeless classic: The long handle and the
knob with the diamond-shaped cross knurl provide a good grip even with wet,
soapy fingers. The straight foam edge of the razor head, which has been
tried and tested for 100 years, reliably ensures a smooth shave. Together
with Merten and Jost Hannemann, we came up with the idea for this set with
an additional toothed comb for areas of the body with longer hair. Feel
free to try out which version gives you the best shaving experience.
The long handle makes shaving a smooth process and the closed comb is an
all-rounder for classic wet shaving, for beard and body. The generous blade
gap allows soap and Harare to drain away easily so that the blade remains
hygienically clean and free.
